Thank you Fran..I now feel I have to reissue a revised version of the book or at least demand Amberley provide an 'Addenda' slip to go inside all copies! Sheila - (SC Skillman)
Oh, so THAT'S what caused the overnight storm in the Shetlands? You knew I was going there. Could have warned me. And I seem to remember someone that got married at Pageant House. Luckily she wasn't smited by a trouser leg whilst walking down the ailse.
My tutorial partner at Oxford went to Warwick High (she was posher than me, I only went to Barrs Hill Girls' Grammar in Coventry). I didn't know her before Oxford, even though she lived a mile or two from me in Coventry and her parents went to my church, but I think they put us together because we were both from Coventry. We're still friends 51 years later!
That's nothing - I went to Norfolk recently to visit a friend I've known for 63 years, since we were at school together between the ages of 7 and 9, and my 'oldest' friend I've been friends with for 65 years, since we lived two houses apart from the age of five!
I'm happy to wait for the 2nd edition, Sheila. Don't go to any trouble ;)
So funny! I'm loving the saga of the wide-legged trousers.

Haha! Well done to Sheila but sounds like she may have to do a rewrite when your trousers become rich & famous!
Chantaclare - exactly! (Sheila - SC Skillman)
Love the trousers! And many congratulations to Sheila.

That's what I call a long-term friendship!

I can't match this. I think my longest friendship is perhaps 40 years, though, so that's not too shabby!
